This class is a live fire training opportunity to work on defensive pistol skills. This first class will focus on fundamentals, including grip, site picture, and draw. Future classes will build on this one, including intermediate red dot, engaging multiple targets, shooting on the move, and advanced draw techniques.

Defensive Pistol Fundamentals Class FAQ

Is this class open to anyone of any skill level?

This class is geared towards those who want to establish better fundamentals around defensive pistol use, as a precursor to more advanced classes. You need not have taken a class focused on defensive pistol or holster draw before, but you do need to have basic weapons handling skills and know-how. If you can do things like rack the slide, perform a reload, and safely holster your weapon, you will be fine. This class is not geared towards first time gun owners, so if that is what you are looking for, go ahead and contact us for an introduction to firearms class.

Do I need a CCL to attend this class?

No, this class is open to anyone who wants to get better at defensive pistol.

Are there any additional range fees or other costs?

No, the cost of the class covers the range fee and targets.
